World Book Day 2020 is on Thursday 5th March!
The biggest part of the campaign this year is to Share A Million Stories – so we want to know about all the stories you’re sharing and enjoying together.
So, what counts as Sharing A Story?
Basically any reading at all!!
We want to hear about you loving a book – so that can be listening to mum or dad, your favourite aunty, your foster carer, your best friend, your teacher, your local bookseller or librarian, the curator at the local museum – anybody who can read a story for you to enjoy!
£1 Tokens
As usual, we will be accepting the £1 World Book Day tokens – either in exchange for one of the special £1 WBD Books, or as £1 any book priced £2.99 or more.
If you live in the Sittingbourne area, get in touch and we will get one to you – from the 27th February to 31st March.
If you live outside the area, I’m afraid we will have to charge postage on any requests.
But you will be able to also buy the books from us for £1 each, plus postage under £5.
School Visits
If you would like us to visit your school on or around World Book Day, then PLEASE get in touch with us to arrange a visit!
We offer story sharing an talking about books, and we can bring our Travelling Bookshop to sell books to families after school.
